My mother wrote the following about the house:

I am urgently selling my beloved house due to relocating. After the death of my husband, I no longer wish to live the dreams we planned together. I hope that when you come to see it, it will be love at first sight for you, as it was for us, because of the structure of the house and the wonderful setting of the village.

The HOUSE is a separate unit. Total of 4 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, 1 separate toilet, living room, kitchen, dining room: (built in 2000)

Distribution:

Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with toilet (bath), wardrobe

High floor: 1 bedroom, living room (with fireplace), kitchen, study, separate toilet and separate bathroom

The village:

Lipót is situated next to the Danube (the house is 1.5 km from the embankment). It is bordered on the north side by the Holt-Duna, with an easily accessible nature trail, fantastic birdlife and, in winter, ice skating. In summer, tourists (and locals too, of course) are attracted by the Lipót thermal baths with waterpark. There are not enough places to stay that cannot be rented out. The village is the birthplace of the famous Lipót Bakery and the first factory, which you can walk past in the morning and enjoy the delicious smell of bread. The bakery has a visitor centre where you can enjoy a delicious coffee and a glimpse into the life of the factory. There is a"little" shop called "Sziget Közért", which is also owned by the bakery. It's not small for the size of the village and you can buy everything, fresh bakery and meat products (DarnóHús, famous meat producer company is in the next village).

The school:

The school deserves a separate paragraph. It's the only Hungarian-English bilingual school in the area, and it's a great success. In several of the graduating classes, a very high percentage of children start their studies a with a B2 level language exam, and some even with a C1)

Location of the house within the village:

As I wrote that there are many tourists in the summer, I think it is important to mention that the house, although close to everything, as the village is small, is in a very quiet location, being situated in a dead end at the end of the village. At the end of the street there is a playground.

My only child has moved abroad with my grandchildren, I don't want to live in this big house anymore. However, I hope the next owner will see the potential in it that we saw.
